Scheduling Specialist

Primary Function:

Monitor, revise and review the production and sample lists in accordance with customer shipping

requirements.

Under the guidance of the Production Control Manager / Supervisor the Scheduling Specialist shall:

1. Be responsible for processing, scheduling and completing customer orders.

2. Generate and distribute wax folders including manufacturing route sheets and other required documentation for production and sample orders.

3. Observe the highest ethical standards in work related situations.

4. Generate split batches / stock batches as required.

5. May be required to assist with various reports such as sample and production line of balance.

6. Review actual processing yields to determine necessity of reruns based on electronic information generated by production departments.

7. Revise work schedules as instructed in order to meet customer acknowledged delivery dates.

8. Shall adhere to all Company policies and procedures.

9. Perform other duties as assigned.

Nature and Frequency of Contacts:

Daily contact with Sales and Production Department personnel.

Special Skills or Experience Required:

Associates degree and three (3) years of production scheduling experience or a Bachelors degree in Business Administration.

Must be familiar with integrated production control software systems.

Must be proficient in the use of a personal computer.

Must possess above average oral and communicative skills.

Must exhibit exceptional accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks performed.
